- Limit the number of proposals they consider.
- Require coordinated communication and stewardship.
We encourage faculty and staff to connect with Foundation Relations before reaching out to or applying to foundations, whenever possible. Our team can share insights on Mizzou’s current relationship with a foundation and help position your request for success.
On behalf of the university, Mizzou Advancement manages relationships with more than 100 priority foundations that actively support higher education. Please contact Foundation Relations before reaching out to a priority foundation or submitting a funding request. This coordination helps ensure we present a unified strategy and maximize philanthropic support for Mizzou.
