- Note that lead organizations are expected to collaborate with the communities to address one or more issue areas: education; labor and economy; or humanities, arts, and culture.
- Co-PIs are not required, but it is necessary to include stakeholders.
Description
This Open Call is funding community-led work to shape AI whose primary focus is one or more of the following: shaping how AI is governed and used, building AI on community terms, and/or challenging AI that doesn’t serve communities. Proposals must address one or more of these approaches. Proposals that focus primarily on research, AI adoption, or AI literacy are out of scope.
