Eligibility
- MD, PhD, ScD, DVM, Dr PH
- Must be working in clinical, laboratory or translational science setting in Pulmonary, Critical Care or Sleep Medicine.
- Must be no more than 7 years from PhD, or an MD no more than 7 years beyond clinical training.
- Cannot have been a PI on an NIH K or R series research award.
- Must devote 75% of effort to research.
Description
The Parker B. Francis Fellowship program supports outstanding investigators embarking on careers in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. The award provides stipends, fringe and travel for postdoctoral and early career faculty.
