Eligibility
- PhD, MD, DVM or equivalent degree.
- Independent, tenure-track faculty-level position, below the level of full professor
- Research program must focus 75% on blood cancer.
- Have started their first independent position no less than 2 years ago but not more than 8 years ago as of January 1 the year of the award start date.
- Must have substantial research support awarded from a national agency, but may not hold a career development award at a higher level than the SCR Award.
- Must have at least 1 full length peer-reviewed, primary research corresponding author publication that is primarily focused on blood cancer.
Description
The Scholar award supports rising stars in the blood cancer research field. Therefore, the total research portfolio of the applicant will be assessed by the review committee – this is not a project grant.
